Its legal entity and buyer terms (https://polar.sh/legal/checkout-buyer-terms) are identified in checkout and on your receipt. Polar handles payment, applicable tax and payment refunds; we provide the tests, readings and profile access. These terms describe our service and our refund promise. What you are buying A test allowance unlocks one distinct non-Archetype test: its complete reading and future retakes. It is used when you unlock a test, not again on each retake. Allowances are personal to your account, cannot be resold or transferred, and are not stored money. Your refund rights remain. Test packs: 1 test for €4.99, 4 tests for €14.99, or 8 tests for €19.99. Ordinary packs do not separately unlock the complete Archetype reading. Archetype starter offers: the complete Archetype reading plus 4 other tests for €14.99, or 8 other tests for €19.99. Other introductory tests: 4 tests in total for €14.99, or 8 in total for €19.99, plus the complete Archetype reading. Your introductory test uses one of the four or eight allowances, leaving three or seven. Complete Profile: €42.99 before eligible earlier spending. It unlocks the collection recorded at purchase, currently 20 tests including Archetype. Tests added in future are not included unless expressly offered. Prices include applicable tax. Check the selected offer and final total before paying. Your order and receipt record the actual amount, including any historical price or discount. This is a one-time payment, without a recurring charge. Upgrading to Complete Profile Eligible earlier euro purchases on the same account reduce the price by the amount actually paid, including tax and after refunds, up to the Complete Profile price. For example, €14.99 already paid leaves €28.00. A positive balance below €0.50 is waived. Remaining unused test allowances are absorbed into the upgrade: their purchase value has already contributed to the discount. They are not paid out or added on top of the collection. (https://aboutme-lab.eu/refunds.php#upgrades) Your account and access The service is intended for adults aged 18 and over. Use your own account and keep sign-in details secure. You need an internet connection, a current browser, JavaScript and necessary account cookies. Optional analytics permission is not required to buy or use the service. Access starts after payment is confirmed and is available in your signed-in profile. A payment being checked does not mean you should pay again. Contact support if an order or reading is missing. Your purchase includes access and retakes without a scheduled expiry or recurring fee. The scope recorded at purchase controls what you own. Changes to new offers do not reduce existing purchased rights. If we cannot continue supplying purchased access, you remain entitled to an appropriate remedy under applicable law. Understanding your readings Our tests are tools for personal reflection, informed by the research and scoring notes identified for each test. They are not clinical diagnoses or professional medical, psychological, financial or employment advice. No particular result or life outcome is guaranteed. This does not excuse a failure to supply the advertised service or limit your rights if it does not conform to the contract. Fair use and changes You may keep and use your own results for personal purposes. Do not commercially share accounts, resell the service, attack the website or redistribute the complete question bank. Restrictions for misuse must be proportionate, with an explanation where reasonably possible, and do not remove non-waivable consumer rights. We may maintain and improve the service. We will not use an update or a new version of these terms to retrospectively reduce your purchased scope or rights. Material changes affecting paid access will be communicated as required by law. Refunds, complaints and your rights Our refund policy (https://aboutme-lab.eu/refunds.php) forms part of these terms. It explains refunds requested within 14 days, how used tests and linked upgrade payments are handled, and your statutory remedies. For access issues or complaints, email support@aboutme-lab.eu (mailto:support@aboutme-lab.eu). Give your account email and order reference if available, but never your password or full card details. Polar billing support is available at support@polar.sh (mailto:support@polar.sh). We will explain the outcome of a complaint and any applicable out-of-court resolution information. We do not currently commit to a particular voluntary alternative dispute resolution provider. Any legally required participation remains unaffected. Information on registered Slovenian providers is available from the Slovenian government (https://www.gov.si/teme/izvensodno-resevanje-potrosniskih-sporov/). You retain access to applicable courts, consumer authorities and card-issuer dispute procedures. Slovenian law applies to these service terms without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their country of habitual residence. Polar's buyer terms govern its reseller relationship. Nothing here excludes non-waivable consumer rights or requires you to use a foreign court or arbitration. Privacy and deleting your profile Our privacy policy (https://aboutme-lab.eu/privacy.php) explains personal data, storage and deletion. Deleting a profile removes its saved readings and access, but is not itself a refund request or a waiver of a valid claim. You can still contact support with your receipt after deletion. ABOUT ME LAB · PEACE OF MIND Refund policy Information about refund eligibility, requests and Complete Profile upgrades. Refund policy · Version 16 September 2026 · Part of our terms of service. Eligibility Request a full refund within 14 calendar days of each paid order. You do not need a reason, and you can ask even if you have unlocked, completed or read a test. We do not deduct a used-test penalty or payment processing fees. How to ask Email support@aboutme-lab.eu (mailto:support@aboutme-lab.eu?subject=Refund%20request) with a clear statement that you want a refund or wish to withdraw. Include your account email, purchase date and order reference if available. Missing an order number does not invalidate a clear withdrawal notice. Do not send passwords or full card details. You may also send a notice to Jernej Drnovšek s.p., Dolenja vas 21, Dolenja vas, 1410 Zagorje ob Savi, Slovenia. Polar handles payment refunds as merchant of record; its billing support is support@polar.sh (mailto:support@polar.sh). Access can begin immediately after confirmed payment. This 14-day refund policy still applies even if a digital-content withdrawal exception would otherwise apply. We do not treat using a test or clicking Pay as automatically waiving your legal rights. What is returned A full refund returns the amount actually paid for that order, including the corresponding tax, less any amount already refunded. Polar returns it to the original payment method unless another permitted method is agreed. A discount or unused allowance is not an additional cash payment, and we do not substitute store credit without your agreement. We reimburse without undue delay and within applicable legal deadlines. For a valid withdrawal, the refund is due within 14 days after notice. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to show the credit. Once fully refunded, the order's remaining allowances and the access it funded end. Other unrefunded purchases continue to provide the access they independently cover. Saved answers and results are not erased as a refund mechanism, although a full reading may become locked. Profile deletion is separate. If you upgraded to Complete Profile Refund only the upgrade You receive the amount actually paid for the upgrade. Complete Profile access ends, and your earlier unrefunded purchases remain. Any unused allowances absorbed from those orders are restored. Example: a €14.99 pack followed by a €28.00 upgrade. Refunding just the upgrade returns €28.00; the earlier pack remains. Upgrading does not restart the earlier order's 14-day period. Refund an earlier purchase that funded the upgrade If an earlier purchase is eligible for a full cancellation and its payment contributed to an active upgrade, we review the linked orders with you. Ordinarily, we unwind the linked upgrade as well and return its actual payment, even if that upgrade is outside its own 14-day refund period. This prevents you being charged a top-up. Example: refunding both the €14.99 contributing pack and its €28.00 upgrade returns €42.99 in total. Access funded by those orders ends. Unrelated unrefunded purchases remain, with their absorbed unused allowances restored. The payments are separate orders and may be returned separately. No amount is refunded twice. We explain the amounts and access changes before coordinating the linked refunds. Mandatory consumer remedies take precedence; a legal price reduction does not automatically cancel your access. A zero-cost upgrade has no extra cash payment to return. If a full cancellation removes a purchase on which it depended, that free upgrade can be unwound; other unrefunded purchases remain available. We never automatically charge the difference. After 14 days, and when something is wrong We do not routinely offer change-of-mind refunds after the 14-day period. This does not limit claims for non-delivery, duplicate or incorrect charges, or digital content or services that do not conform to the contract. Depending on applicable law and the problem, you may be entitled to have the service made conforming, a proportionate price reduction or termination and reimbursement. Those rights are not limited to our voluntary 14-day period. A particular preferred test result is not promised, but you remain entitled to the service described in your offer. A price reduction that keeps the contract in force does not automatically remove access. Other partial refunds require an agreement on the amount and access. Refunds reduce the amount of spending available for a future upgrade discount; they never trigger an automatic extra charge. This template is optional. Existing purchases and account deletion This version applies to purchases made under it. Earlier purchases are assessed under their original disclosures and applicable rights; we do not retrospectively assert a withdrawal waiver. Deleting your profile is not a refund request and does not remove valid refund rights. You may use your receipt to contact us after deletion.
